We booked Wohnung 4. The spot is great, right by the dike, and there's a dog beach nearby. The building is very noisy between apartments. The ground-floor unit feels dark and exposed because of where it's situated, and the lighting in the evening isn't enough. The furnishings are okay overall, but nowhere near worth the price. If you might need to work or watch a film in the evening, bring plenty of data. The biggest letdown was the bed. The mattresses seem cheap and worn, and the toppers are meant to cover that up, but they don't make the bed comfortable.

The sea view was the most impressive part of our 14-day stay in WE13 on the second floor. My spouse and I have stayed in many vacation rentals, but we won't stay here again. At first, everything looked fine. Then we noticed the kitchen lacked basics for frying and cooking, a proper salad bowl, sharp knives, and other essentials. The dining chairs and sofa were old, frayed, worn, and yellowed. Sitting for even fifteen minutes was uncomfortable, never mind lying down. The apartment may be designed for up to four people, but not six. Without replacing the flooring and furniture completely, it isn't worth what we paid.

Apartment 07 has a lovely Baltic Sea view and feels beautifully new and furnished. We felt very comfortable there, and the beds and living room furniture were both really comfortable. Highly recommended.

We were very disappointed by apartment number 17 at Villa Deichgraf, especially for the high price. We'd stayed in apartment 13 twice before and loved it, and apartment 22 is great too. This time the beds were completely worn out, the slatted frame was broken, the wall brackets were coming loose, the fireplace didn't work, and the sink was clogged. The owners really need to renovate. The house is in a recommendable location, but avoid apartment number 17.

A lovely apartment, furnished with good taste. Still, sleep really depends on the bed. This mattress isn't even firmness level 1, when a level 3 would be ideal. After the first night I felt like I could have gone straight home. Maybe a better mattress is all that's needed. Just a friendly suggestion 🙂
