Vintage-Hotel Charivari

Good service, and we enjoyed the ice cream and pizza.

Really top-notch!

We stayed three nights at Hotel Charivari in October and really enjoyed it. The owners clearly put care into the details throughout this family run hotel. The rooms aren’t large, but they’re very comfortable and tastefully furnished. We had room 8, with the especially pleasant touch of underfloor heating in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet had everything we needed to start the day, and we wouldn’t have wanted to miss it. Check-in was easy and handled very professionally at the office across the street. We could also charge our electric car at the hotel for a fee, which was convenient. Bolsterlang is small, but the location is ideal. The gondola is within walking distance, and we could leave the car in the hotel’s free parking lot. During our stay, a free daily round trip on the Bolsterlang gondola and the World Cup Express in Ofterschwang was included, which added real value. For families, the go-kart descent from the mountain station in Bolsterlang is especially fun. The impressive Breitachklamm Gorge is only a few minutes away by car, and you can hike through it all the way into Austria. It’s a welcoming hotel and a great base for solo travelers, couples, or families who want to explore the area at an easy pace.

We were four people traveling with two dogs, and the staff made us feel very welcome. Their help meant a lot. The hotel is small and charming, with a family feel and a restaurant serving nice food. Breakfast was generous and good. We’d happily come back.
