We had a very quiet, dog-friendly ground-floor apartment facing south, with meadows outside. The beach is only about 200 meters away, across the main road and through a small wooded area. There are designated parking spaces, and a large, well-stocked Edeka is less than a 10-minute walk away. Getting to the town center took me about 30 minutes.

We stayed in apartment 20, which was very nice and perfectly placed for the beach. There’s also an electric car charging station nearby. The only thing I’d change is the headroom in the bedrooms, which are entirely under the sloping roof.

We spent a wonderful two weeks here. The apartment was well equipped, even with a raclette grill, and had a terrace with a great view over the lagoon meadows. It’s on the ground floor and seems to have been renovated relatively recently. The beach is about a 350m walk, with a supermarket and bakery right next door. On arrival, it could have been a bit cleaner, and there could have been more crockery and cutlery for four people.

Everything was within easy walking distance, including the beach, a supermarket, and restaurants, and we were lucky with the weather at the end of August and beginning of September. Our holiday apartment was clean, tidy, nicely furnished, and had comfortable beds with good mattresses. It also had a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, and washing machine, which isn’t always the case. There were even a few toys in the apartment that our child loved. It was a wonderful, all-around perfect holiday.
