Beautiful place.

The beachside setting and the varied breakfast were the few bright spots for our school group. Dinner tasted good too, aside from the hair and spiders we found in the food once. The rest of the stay was deeply troubling. The accommodation was filthy and in poor repair, with spiders, mosquitoes, worms, and mold around. Our sheets had sand and hair on them, the showers were blocked, the doors were flimsy and wouldn't lock, and the shared bathrooms weren't cleaned. Safety was a concern as well: the fire extinguishers hadn't been checked for years. The treatment of both students and teachers was sometimes disrespectful. We were told we still had our professional careers ahead of us and didn't look like “real teachers.” A particularly upsetting incident involved a heavily intoxicated female snack bar employee who kept touching students' shoulders, made a racist comment that one student couldn't speak German even though he was fluent, and insulted the group by saying the students had no brain cells because they didn't stand up for themselves. She shouted in front of the children for 20 minutes, saying “This isn't my Germany anymore” and that she had never respected teachers anyway. Staff eventually drove her home, but she never apologized. There was also a disputed deposit demand. A shower cubicle that had reportedly been broken for a long time and mentioned in older Google reviews was suddenly blamed on our students, and we were threatened with a €250 charge. The matter was dropped only after we contacted the tour operator, and no invoice was provided. I strongly advise against staying here with a school group. The hygiene is unacceptable, it feels unsafe, and it's completely unsuitable for educational trips.
