Everything was clean, and the apartment was lovely in a great location. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely vacation there again!

The best thing about apartment 3 was its unbeatable location right behind the beach. We were there as a family, got a good first impression, and found the management friendly. But on entering, we immediately smelled smoke. We decided to give it a chance, then noticed dirty areas on the refrigerator, toilet, and upstairs bed, so we contacted management right away. A cleaner was sent later, but we were out; when we returned, none of those spots had been cleaned. We kept finding more unclean areas, so we bought cleaning supplies and did what we could ourselves. Air freshener helped with the smoke smell somewhat. In the end, we left a day early because the apartment was unacceptable for allergy sufferers. To be fair, the cleaning company reimbursed us for the final cleaning, and the owner was really nice. After a friendly email request, management refunded only 5% of the daily price for the unused night. We would have expected that before leaving, without having to ask.

The apartment is practical and has enough furnishings for a stay. Its best feature is the sea view from the bedroom, living room, and sleeping loft, though the very dirty windows got in the way of enjoying it. The shower also needs to be cleaned more often. Strandhafer 4 is right on the beach promenade.

Our daughter loved the loft bed, and both the ground-floor and upstairs apartments had plenty of room. We were one adult and one child, aged 9, and found both kitchenettes fully equipped, right down to the little things. The setting felt quiet and appealing, right by the promenade. Highly recommended!
