We’re back in Boltenhagen for our second holiday here, and enjoying it just as much. The cottage has a lovely garden and sits somewhere quiet, with a bakery van just around the corner. Inside, it’s modern and has enough room for four. The sloping ceilings make upstairs feel a bit cramped, and a couple of spots could do with some improvement.

There’s no privacy on the terrace without a screen, and the path to the house isn’t paved the whole way, so rain is a real problem. The house itself was clean, but it was rather sparsely equipped when we arrived on Sunday.

We had a successful holiday in this small, cozy cottage. The upstairs bathroom is awkward because of the sloping roof, especially for us at over 1.80 m, so we just used the bathroom downstairs. It didn’t spoil the stay.

The beach is nearby, and pets are allowed. The houses are lovely and the area is quiet.

The beach is stunning, and we were very happy with both the accommodation and its amenities in Boltenhagen. We’ve already booked again for 2018. Best wishes from the Reimann family in Leverkusen.
