WELL Hausboote

Breakfast on the terrace in the warm morning sun, watching sailboats head out, was such a lovely way to start the day. The sunsets over dinner and a glass of wine were just as nice, and on clear nights we enjoyed looking at the stars. We were a family of four with two children and felt very comfortable. The houseboat was quiet, spotless, and had everything we needed. We also got plenty of information about the area and excursions beforehand, which helped make it a great family stay. We’ve already booked to spend our summer vacation here again.

The four of us had a fantastic long weekend on the boat, even though the weather didn’t always cooperate. Check-in was easy, and we quickly felt at home. The living room is a cozy spot to sit together, and the terrace is lovely when the sun comes out. Everything we needed was there, and the beds were very comfortable. A great place to relax and enjoy ourselves. We’ll be back!

The harbor was absolutely silent, which was a lovely surprise, and sitting on the houseboat terrace in the moonlight felt incredibly romantic 😊👍🏼🥂🍾. We really enjoyed our two nights on one of the Well houseboats. It was very clean, with everything looking fresh and spotless. The mobile reception wasn’t great, and we couldn’t use the Wi-Fi because it never showed up. We didn’t mind too much.

Before arriving, we received a flood of information, in a good way, and the interior was well maintained. The place was very clean when we arrived. Two things did take away from an otherwise good impression, though. Parking at the Winter Halls can be difficult on weekends. We were lucky to find a space when we parked on Saturday, but there are no assigned spots and the lot fills up completely. The free Wi-Fi was a disaster, especially on weekends when server traffic seemed to increase. It dropped out often, and repeated attempts to reconnect were often unsuccessful. The port office was happy to help as much as they could, but the server could still use an upgrade.
