Gästehaus Bommelsen

It's a real paradise for kids, and older visitors too. The grounds are stunning and peaceful, and Gasthof Bommelsen is just as lovely for its warm, friendly service. We were very well looked after and will definitely return. Many thanks for the kind hospitality. Best wishes from Saxony-Anhalt.

The hosts were very kind and accommodating, and breakfast was delicious, with lots of variety and care put into it. Our room was lovely, with a big bathroom. The traditional house sits on very spacious grounds, making it a great place for children and for relaxing. We can certainly recommend it.

The pool advertised for the guesthouse wasn't there, which was really unacceptable, especially as the water was warm enough to swim. Apart from that, we hope the owners keep doing well and have a fully booked guesthouse. It's quite tucked away, but there's greenery all around and lots of places for children to play. Sitting outside in the evening was pleasant. The rooms were okay, simply and solidly furnished, since we mostly used them for sleeping. Breakfast was good, especially the rolls, which were fresh and still warm. The coffee could have been a little stronger, maybe with another spoonful of grounds.

My kids had one of their best holidays ever, and I got to relax as well. We had a wonderful long week that felt almost like a riding holiday. The place was very clean, and they'd thought of everything, including things for the children to play with. The Jäger family were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was all great value for money, and we'd love to come back. Highly recommended.
