The service was very good. They cleaned the rooms every day, and the linens they provided were really comfortable.

I booked a single room with a shared bathroom, and the room was great. The woman at reception was so friendly that she even left a key for me before check-in.

I should've waited until checkout to review. When I went to leave, I discovered I'd signed a form saying I had to make my bed or pay 30 euros. I hadn't made it, because none of the many hostels I've stayed in across Europe and Latin America has ever required that or charged a fine. For that price, it's not worth it. Before checkout, I thought it was a great hostel. The neighborhood is excellent, with a Turkish restaurant open for breakfast, a grocery across the street, and the old city just a block away. There was great food all around too.
