It has a friendly, family feel. The food is homemade, and I recommend the Gambas with Portuguese wine. They also have local wines, which are very good.

We really enjoyed the meal, and the Portuguese owner likes to joke and laugh with customers. Service isn't especially quick, but you're on vacation, so who cares. I can definitely recommend the Ohm Patt restaurant, though I can't speak to the hotel rooms.

There's no restaurant in the hotel, but they gave us good advice on where to eat and even made reservations. It's a friendly, helpful Anglo-German place with lovely people, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and everything immaculately clean. Breakfast is a good, simple German-style buffet. Locals use the bar, and there are tables outside too.

We'd happily stay here again. The management deserves plenty of praise, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The food was delicious, especially the steak and Portuguese prawns, which we recommend.
