Gerda in the Michaela House

We felt right at home in this quiet, comfortable apartment. It looks newly renovated, with modern, tasteful furnishings, and matches the pictures exactly. The cleanliness deserves a full 10 out of 10. We could also keep our bicycles in the garage, which was a nice bonus. We're already looking forward to next year, when we'll be staying in the upstairs apartment.

The hostess is very friendly and easy to reach, and shopping is nearby, including Preiskauf (Edeka), Edeka, Kik and a pizzeria. The South Beach is very close, while the town center is around a 15-20 minute walk, manageable even with small children. This freshly renovated apartment is furnished and decorated with care, and it's clean with everything you might need. The kitchen has a fridge with freezer, stove, microwave, coffee pod machine, and plenty of plates and cutlery. There's a grill on the furnished terrace. One bedroom has two single beds, the other a double, and the bathroom has a shower. It's a lovely place where you feel at home, highly recommended and a real insider tip!

We stayed in the Gerda apartment, which was bright, modern, very clean and well equipped. The roof terrace is fantastic, and there's a parking space too. You can lock your bikes in a shed and charge e-bikes there.

The landlady was really nice, and the apartment was beautifully furnished and spotless, with everything we needed. It's the best place I've stayed in on Borkum. We highly recommend it, a solid five stars!
