We had a really pleasant stay, and the room was ready as soon as we arrived. It's a spacious, welcoming hotel, with friendly staff and a breakfast spread overlooking Borkum station. There's lots to choose from in the morning. At checkout we were handed a “free ticket” for different attractions on Borkum, but when we used it at the Nordsee Aquarium, we still had to pay €5 each to see the lovely North Sea sea life in one room. It might help to explain that a bit more clearly. We would still recommend the hotel.

I always feel at home here and have stayed several times. The place isn't especially modern, which is just how I like it, and the rooms are great. Breakfast is divine, and everyone is so kind. On my last visit I brought my little dog, and Mr. Hofmann came into the breakfast room each morning to give my Gizmo a cuddle first. I'll be back in the fall.
