Pension Min Hüsing

The freedom to use the breakfast room whenever I liked was a real plus. It has a toaster, microwave, coffee maker, egg cooker, and fridge, and skipping fixed breakfast hours saved me quite a bit. The bus stop is close, with Wieck about 5 minutes away and Prerow around 10; it’s also a handy base for bike rides. There’s a bike rental across the street and a bakery just a few meters away, while the guesthouse itself is quiet and away from the tourist crowds. Heike is so friendly and accommodating, and I felt at home as soon as I arrived. The rooms are charming, clean, and peaceful, with fresh-smelling linens and a very comfortable bed. The price was great too. I heard local people say some guests pay twice as much per night. I’d seen reviews that made me wonder whether they were talking about the same place. If you book a mountain tour, you can’t really complain afterward that there was no sea view. I was thrilled and booked again for the next summer. When I returned to Min Hüsing in August 2018, it was my second stay, this time for two weeks. It felt like coming home again, and I had another wonderful, relaxing visit. The apartment was as clean, quiet, and cozy as ever, and I didn’t want to leave. A snack bar has now opened across the street, selling delicious fish sandwiches and more at very reasonable prices. I’ve booked for next year already and wholeheartedly recommend Min Hüsing in Born. Thank you for everything, dear Heike Spierling!
