Breakfast was good value at 11 euros, with plenty of variety and useful travel tips available in the morning. The guest house itself was reasonably priced, though getting around with a wheeled suitcase was difficult: the street has small, uneven cobblestones. While the main street in the Altstadt was being repaired, the nearest bus stop was 400m away on Ziegelstraße. Also, shorter guests may struggle to open the roof windows on the second floor. Check-in is by collecting a key from the safe at the front door.

The rooms were clean and cozy, and I enjoyed my two nights there during the Havel Festival. The main drawback was how easily sound carried, both between nearby rooms and from the festival grounds. With an event that size happening so close, though, that wasn't surprising. I'd recommend the place. The city is lovely and worth visiting.

The rooms are practical, and the staff were friendly from booking through departure. Having a key safe was especially handy for arriving outside the usual check-in hours. From the guesthouse, it's about a 10-minute walk to the Millennium Bridge, shopping street, and waterfront, in a charming old-town setting. Noise was a downside: we could hear both traffic outside and sounds from the next room. It was also extremely hot during our stay, and the room felt it, though there was a standing fan.

Everything was clean and well looked after, and there was free coffee in the morning. I had a really nice stay, even though it was only one night. I'd happily come back. Best regards
