Breakfast was excellent, and the room suited me well, with a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom, and good value. Pension zum Birnbaum was also in a quiet, convenient spot, about five minutes from the Bahnhof or the shops. I stayed three nights in early July, but spent most of the time out touring and only really came back to sleep.

Cosy, clean place for a fair price. It's close to the railway station, the hosts are nice, and breakfast was great.

We spent a weekend here as a family. The rooms were spacious and well equipped, and in the evenings we could all sit comfortably under the covered terrace. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

We were passing through on a motorcycle trip and liked how close it was to the motorway, just a five-minute drive. The location is central but very quiet, and the rooms were clean. The hosts were so friendly and breakfast was excellent. We've saved the address and would happily come back.

I was here for a week for work. There are far too few power outlets, and no kettle, which seems standard these days. On Saturday I couldn't get breakfast. It wasn't due to start until 8 a.m., and the staff were completely inflexible and didn't try to find a solution.
