The restaurant was so good that we ate there on all three days of our stay in Brandis. The main courses are generously sized, which is nice, though a few smaller options such as a cold cut or cheese platter would be welcome. Our rooms were clean and well-maintained during the three nights we spent there. It would also help to have signs for the hotel at the intersection of Dorfstraße and Viehweide. We'll be back. After our hike, we had dinner at the Seerose Show Hotel restaurant, and we came away thoroughly impressed. The menu has plenty of choice, with food that feels both creative and down-to-earth. Everything we ordered was fresh, skillfully prepared, and made with high-quality ingredients. The dishes had Michelin-star quality, refined but still honest, and beautifully presented. The warm, coordinated decor made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in. Our waiter was attentive and friendly without hovering, and clearly cared about his work. He made a lovely evening even better. Prices were fair for the standard, which feels rare these days. If we could, we'd give it 8 out of 5 stars. We wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant at the Seerose Show Hotel, and we'll definitely return.

For our 2025 family reunion, our group of 28 stayed at Hotel Seerose. We wanted somewhere peaceful near a lake but still convenient for Leipzig, about 12 km away as the crow flies, and it fit the bill. Having a separate function room for the group was another plus. The food was wonderful, both in quality and service. It felt upscale without being pretentious, just right for relaxing together for a few hours or days. Our group was in agreement that we'd recommend Hotel Seerose without hesitation, and we will. Many thanks to the team for such a wonderful time!
