We paid €625 for this dump, and I can’t recommend it at all. The photos don’t match the place in any way. The beds are old and worn, and silverfish were crawling all over them. Electrical outlets were hanging out of the wall, the dishes and kitchen were dirty, and the toilet wasn’t secured to the floor. The floor and all the tables wobbled. The garden was overgrown, trash was lying around the property, and large pieces of broken glass were scattered about. The barbecue area was unusable because it was completely filthy. There was no sauna, and the table tennis table couldn’t be used. Maybe it was a beautiful house once, a long, long time ago. Horror house.

We had a group of 17 in August and rented all five apartments, so there was plenty of room in the very large house. Bedrooms are under the roof and across three other floors, with some rooms sleeping two and others three to five. Every apartment has a kitchen and common areas. Downstairs there’s a large, modern kitchen, a breakfast and seminar room with a big TV, plus a hobby room with a screen and projector, pool table, and ping-pong table. Games are all over the house, and the recreation options and space were fantastic for our group. The rented jacuzzi was broken, though, and as others have said, the house is a bit dated. They let us use the sauna to make up for the missing jacuzzi. The landlord lives in a separate unit in the house, is very friendly, replies quickly, and is easygoing. That’s why we didn’t take off any stars for the somewhat dated furnishings.

Only the shared kitchen in the basement seemed halfway new. We were there with a large group in late summer 2023 and booked three apartments. None of us expected much, but the place still managed to fall below our already tiny expectations. The awful photos in other reviews match what we saw. Not one bedsheet was intact; the electrical work was seriously questionable, the toilet wasn’t bolted down, and the dirty shower head couldn’t be hung up. There was lots of dust and cobwebs, the garden was completely overgrown, and the barbecue area was filthy. The pool was covered in algae and neglected, and we never felt sure the roof terrace was safe. Smoke detectors were dismantled and lying around without batteries, and cupboards were half falling apart. It felt like someone was trying to squeeze every last bit of money out of the building without maintaining it.

The landlord is nice, but doesn’t seem to recognize the problems. It’s a beautiful house that hasn’t been looked after. We arrived with 12 adults and 3 small children, and something was wrong in every room. Our three-year-old could open the front door without a key. Some taps didn’t work, and the advertised billiards, darts, and other activities weren’t usable because everything was destroyed. The outdoor area and barbecue spots were awful. There were at least 15(!) silverfish in the children’s beds. I’m not picky, but I can’t recommend this house when it comes to my children’s well-being. The pictures seem to be old and don’t show its current condition. I can’t really give it even one star.
