The owners were friendly, service-minded, and clearly passionate about their hotel. It’s right in the middle of Braunlage, and there’s a large garden with lots of places to sit, which must be great in summer. The hotel also has a swimming pool and several kinds of saunas. The lobby and reception seem to have been renovated recently, while the rooms and breakfast area look rather old-fashioned. Even so, the hotel and its rooms maintained a high level of service and quality. A very nice hotel, and one I’d gladly recommend.

My partner and I arrived without a booking, just looking for somewhere to stay for the night. Oliver welcomed us warmly and was kind and helpful the whole time. We liked it so much that we stayed extra days. Thank you for a lovely stay, Paidion! The host was the most welcoming and service-minded one I’ve ever experienced. The hotel feels cozy and homely, and it was clean. Breakfast was good, and the atmosphere was calm. There’s a pool with a sauna and a damp shower, plus a lovely big garden with plenty of places to hang out. The rooms have balconies.

We called at 9 a.m. after deciding on the spur of the moment to come back the day after our wedding, and were lucky to get a room. The owners and staff congratulated us so warmly and gave us a lovely welcome. Our room was beautiful, modern, clean, and furnished with care. Having the spa facilities to ourselves was the highlight after all the stress of the previous few days. It made for a wonderful end to the wedding. The breakfast was just as delicious and plentiful as last time. This is our second stay, and I can imagine us always finding something to enjoy here, even when our family grows. Very warm greetings to the owners and staff. Keep up the great work; your passion shows all over the hotel!
