Spacious, clean apartments in a good spot in the Harz. Braunlage is a lovely little town too, and the staff were friendly.

We felt at home right away in the two-bedroom apartment at Haus am Wald in Braunlage. This was our second stay, and we're already planning to return next year. Our children were sad to leave, and the four of us agreed that all good things come in threes. There are lots of thoughtful touches: little welcome muffins, sparkling wine, gummy bears, and useful kitchen basics like salt, sugar, napkins, foil, and paper towels. They even have emergency toothbrushes. By the entrance, there's a small shelf with board games, snacks, and energy drinks that you can buy for a small tip. The included breakfast buffet is small but delicious and served with a lot of warmth. The owners also noticed some wishes we hadn't even voiced and took care of them so thoughtfully. Thank you for everything, you're fantastic! ❤️

We had such a lovely time here and will definitely come back. The breakfast spread was generous, with plenty of good options, and the hosts were super nice and easygoing. Sending our warmest wishes!
