Sonneneck

The spa area could use more heating, and breakfast too feels like a place where they’re cutting corners. Still, it’s a nice place to stay overall.

We stayed at the Vitalhotel Sonneneck for five nights, up until yesterday, and have only good things to say. The staff were all so courteous and friendly, especially the woman who served breakfast. Sadly, she wasn’t there the day we left, and we’d have loved to thank her again for those lovely breakfasts. Dinner at the restaurant is a must, it was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. The pool, sauna, and whirlpool were so relaxing, and we had a beautiful view from our room. The area and the hotel are both fantastic. We’d love to come back!

The room was clean and very well kept, and just right for a short trip. The staff were so friendly and shared tips for outings. Breakfast was generous and beautifully presented, and we had a lovely weekend at this little hotel. The food at Sonnen Eck Alm was excellent, freshly prepared and delicious. Compliments to the chef, and thanks to the whole team.

The pool and its stunning view were amazing. The owner even switched on the sauna for the three of us, which I’ve had a different experience with at other hotels. I came away feeling as if I’d had three weeks of wellness, even though we were only there for three days, and I’m still deeply relaxed. It’s a beautiful hotel in a fantastic setting, and everyone was kind and welcoming from the first minute. Everything was clean and comfortably furnished, and the small restaurant next door was lovely, with plentiful and delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks to the Rust family and all the staff. We’ll definitely be back and are already looking forward to it. You’re fantastic! 👍🍀
