From the balcony and kitchen window, you can see across the whole town and beyond. We spent New Year's Eve here as a family, and the spacious apartment was furnished with a lot of care. It stayed wonderfully quiet, and the blinds on all the windows let us sleep in and take the mornings slowly. The owners were so welcoming. They explained the apartment and local activities, and were easy to reach whenever we had more questions. Hiking trails are within walking distance. Our visitor's card covered the 3-Worlds Cars, which we used every day and saved quite a bit on entrance fees.

We got plenty of helpful ideas for walks, cycling, and other things to do from the friendly landlord. The bright apartment was lovely and peaceful, and the Three Worlds Card gave us free access to lots of great offers.

The balcony was lovely, with lots of evening sun, and the new bathroom was great. The apartment is roomy and nicely furnished, and having a sink in each bedroom made mornings and evenings much easier for five of us. We were very satisfied, and the landlords were friendly. One thing, the name "Feldbergblick" (Feldberg view) is misleading since you can't actually see Feldberg. Döggingen sits at 800 meters, but the landscape is mostly a plateau with hardly any mountains. It still makes a good base for scenic drives into the Black Forest and to Lake Constance. We had a week of fantastic weather and got to see a lot, especially Donaueschingen, Titisee, Triberg, the Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen, St. Blasien Cathedral, and Meersburg on Lake Constance.

We were completely happy with our stay. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and very well equipped, and the owners were friendly. It's also a handy base for the Water Worlds Trail, since public transport makes it easy to reach the start and finish of each stage.
