The grounds are peaceful, with lovely trees and even a small stream to sit by. I’ve been here a few times, and it’s an ideal place for conferences and events, with an excellent location. It isn’t really a traditional hotel, though, so it’s better suited to seminars and conferences. I’d highly recommend it for those.

I found the historic setting and gardens really pleasant. It works well for events like small conferences, with a main presentation room and several breakout rooms. The hotel rooms are on the first floor, a practical size, with plenty of storage, a fridge and a kettle. There’s a safe, but it won’t fit a laptop. The underground parking is there, though, like other parts of the building, getting to and from it can be difficult for people with disabilities.

There are quiet walking paths outside town, with plenty to look at along the way. The church across the street is impressive too. The hotel and training facility are beautiful, and the setting is peaceful.
