Atrium am Meer

This is a lovely, quiet hotel, with the sea just 5 minutes away. Breakfast was generous and good, the staff friendly and helpful, and the restaurant food was delicious, though you need a reservation. The downsides were nowhere to hang wet swimwear, a bathroom that felt too small, and no balcony or terrace. Otherwise, 5 stars.

We were looking forward to our New Year's weekend but ended up disappointed. We arrived at 3 pm on December 31st and the receptionist was so rude that we seriously thought about going home. She should consider a different job. An hour after checking in, we had to switch rooms because the toilet was broken. There was no bottled water in the room, which was a real inconvenience since nothing else was open because of COVID. Breakfast had no jam, only honey and plum butter, and no bread, just rolls and toast. The hotel feels quite dated and cost far too much for what it is. Dinner was very good and the service there was very friendly, so thanks for that. Unfortunately, we can't recommend the hotel.

We felt at home and got a very friendly welcome, along with a few tips on things to do. Breakfast was very good and had something for every taste. The only letdown was the pillow, which really needs replacing. We'd gladly come back.

Being so close to the beach was great, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was simply furnished and had a very musty smell, especially from the bathroom drain. Breakfast was okay, though too expensive. The restaurant needed a reservation and was closed for two days, so there was nowhere to eat on site then.
