Hotel Bergstation Schmeddnalm

The surroundings are nice, and the owner seems pleasant. The rooms are okay, too. But the shared kitchen fridge is even smaller than my already small one at home, and another guest took half my groceries from it. The shared bathroom shower is too small and partly open, so water ends up across half the floor. I also couldn't charge my phone beside the bed, only across the room. I'm here for work. For a private trip, I probably would've chosen somewhere else.

Breakfast was great, especially the strong coffee, and the owners were friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but very clean, with excellent beds. It's an ideal base for hiking or motorcycle trips, or just for a stopover. The value for money is hard to beat. I'd gladly stay again.

Everything else was fine, and the room was clean with a good shower. The receiver was broken the first evening, but they fixed it after I let them know. The trash can hadn't been emptied.

I'm reviewing the alpine pasture. When we arrived it felt deserted, as though nobody had been there in a long time, and there was really no charm to it. It didn't feel like somewhere to stay and linger.
