We stayed in the camping area. The facilities were good, there were plenty of activities around the camp, and the prices were reasonable. The food was typical German. My one real gripe was the shower: we paid over 50-70 a night for a parking lot, yet still had to pay 50c for a three-minute shower. The water flow from the shower head was pathetic, so showering there was a pain.

The rooms are basic, but have everything you need, and I’ve no complaints about them. There’s so much to do that you won’t be in your room for long anyway. I came for the mountain bike trails, but they cater to athletes across all kinds of sports, from hobbyists to professionals. The food is a fresh, high-quality cantina-style buffet, and you should definitely book it too. Whether you’re here for serious training or just to enjoy the beautiful Erzgebirge mountains, they’ve got you covered. I’d stay with them again anytime.

There’s loads of fun to be had with all the sporting activities. You can ride bikes, hike, climb, swim, play beach volleyball, do yoga, and more. The trails and food are nice, and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are pleasant, though the beds are a bit basic. Wi-Fi is weak in a few spots.

The four trails when I wrote this were TL (Taster Loop), BT (Border Trail), 2M (Two Mountains), and BR (Black Raven). They connect nicely, so you can combine different sections in lots of ways, and riding them is quite enjoyable. I’d give four stars, though, because tree roots frequently criss-cross the trails. That’s unusual on well-maintained singletracks and makes them much rougher and more technical, especially when wet.
