After a grueling tour, it was a real lift to find somewhere with so much character. Historical items were displayed in glass cases near the entrance, and the walls had art in all sorts of styles. I especially loved the old harmonium and the other instruments. We were only there briefly, arriving very late and leaving at dawn, but the woman who welcomed us was understanding about the late arrival and gracious in the morning. Near the end of our European tour, after staying in what I think was 33 hotels over five weeks, this was the most interesting place. I hope I can come back on my own sometime. Thank you.

The garden was a paradise for the kids, with ponies, sheep, a donkey and rabbits they could pet and feed. There were also lots of birds, wild pigs, and frogs and tadpoles in the pond. The adults enjoyed relaxing outside while the children played. The hotel was very clean, and the hosts were kind. Everything felt very child-friendly, and we all enjoyed spending time with the animals.

The kids especially loved feeding the pigs, and we enjoyed our evening meal. The hosts were friendly and happy to help, with great suggestions for things to do nearby. They even let us use the restaurant area on their quiet day. A nice experience for the whole family.

The private outdoor saunas are a great option, and it was lovely to say hello to the ponies, donkeys and rabbits just outside. The loft itself is beautiful and cozy, with books, board games and other nice little touches. The kitchen is well equipped for a space this size. It felt idyllic to stay there and tend the fireplace.

We had a great time. The owners were awesome, the tents were super cozy, and the place itself was beautiful. A great experience, definitely recommended for everyone.
