Aparthotel Adagio Bremen

Across six full days, nobody cleaned our room once. We got no fresh towels or sheets and had no housekeeping at all. The first room at Adagio Hotel Bremen near the Hauptbahnhof was dirty and poorly maintained, and moving us after we complained made no difference. The front desk ignored our concerns, and management came across as completely unprofessional and unwelcoming. We also tried to add a day or two to our stay. They kept us waiting until the last minute, then said there were no rooms, even though they'd confirmed earlier. Laundry was 5 euros per item, and there were no other proper hotel amenities. I've travelled to more than 56 countries, and this was truly one of my worst hotel experiences. Dirty rooms, poor management and zero service. Absolutely not recommended.

I was here for the Space Tech Expo and was very happy with my choice. The hotels across the train station may have slightly nicer rooms and amenities, but at this price, this one is hard to beat.

As a gold member with All Accor, I got none of the welcome drinks included with membership. They also didn't give me an invoice, saying a computer system update made it impossible to create one, and the final bill was higher than the booking price. The hotel hallways were dirty, smelly and dingy, and my room wasn't cleaned during my stay. Asking staff for anything seemed to be a problem. Their attitude felt unwelcoming, defensive, unmotivated and rude.

The station is right across the road, so you couldn't ask for a more central spot. The rooms have everything you need, and the staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating of individual requests. My only issue was the hard bed. I woke with a sore back, though over two nights it didn't bother me too much.
