At checkout, the receptionist didn’t say a word, and had been silent since the morning. I’ve never had an experience like that before. It was a real shock, and the service was absolutely unacceptable.

The room was good, and breakfast had plenty to choose from, both sweet and savory. The hallway, though, smelled so bad that we were glad to get back to our room. There was a lot of noise during our stay: a garbage truck came early on the first day, then a delivery arrived the next. After that, employees smoked right below our window and the smoke came into the room. We asked them to stop, and they did.

The staff were friendly, and parking right outside the building was €6 per day. The room was clean, with modern furnishings and very good mattresses. The bathroom’s bathtub wasn’t great, but it did the job. Wi-Fi was free, and breakfast had a wide selection.

The staff were very friendly, and for a three-star hotel at this price, the stay was fine. Still, I’ve definitely stayed somewhere better. Breakfast was average: a decent amount of choice, but the quality was a little below average, and sometimes the tables or placemats were dirty. The “bar” was awful, uncomfortable, and had no cocktails. There weren’t any particular highlights.
