The cleaning was good, and the hotel was quiet and simple. It’s near the city center, but the place feels a bit old. The shower is very small and the water doesn’t come out evenly. In my view, it’s fine for two or three nights at most.

Breakfast was good and served for a long time, and the rooms were clean, though their condition and amenities varied a lot. In our group, every room was different. Whether you got a double bed, kitchenette, or air conditioning seemed like luck, and getting all three would be a jackpot. The location isn’t great, but it’s workable with a tram pass. We booked months ahead as a large group, yet arrival was stressful for the hotel, and several days into the reservation they still hadn’t tried to fix their mistakes. They put people in the wrong rooms, leaving some to share beds despite our booking individual beds. Each morning they promised rooms would be available the next day, but none ever were. The one-key system was a real hassle too. Then, as I understand it, their system went down and new guests started entering rooms that were already occupied because staff didn’t know which rooms were in use. I’ll update if things improve, but if the front desk keeps the same attitude, I’ll have more stress to add. Step it up, guys.

I slept well and the bed was comfortable, though that may have been because I’d had a long, tough day before arriving. It was also very clean. The lovely receptionist and a nice hot cappuccino are what keep this at three stars for me. The place feels old and tired, like it’s stuck in the 2000s and badly needs an update.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you have a small child. The air-conditioning unit sits in the corner and is extremely loud even on its lowest setting. There are exposed power sockets in two parts of the room, and the air-conditioning leaves everything very dusty. This place seems to think it’s a three-star hotel, but it isn’t.
