Uber Fluss Apartments

I spent two months in the Maisonette-Apartment on the 6th floor. The spacious room has a warm, welcoming feel despite its minimalist design, and the bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of storage, and the facilities were modern and worked seamlessly. The air conditioning worked well, which mattered on the 6th floor. There are two washing machines and dryers in the basement, and I never had trouble finding one ready to use. Security is well developed, with CCTV by the entrance doors and automatic key-card doors on each floor. I had no noise problems: there are only three rooms on the 6th floor, and the doors and walls are very soundproof. Staff are available 24 hours and always willing to help. The women at the front office are warm and friendly. The apartment has no reception and is part of Überfluss Design Hotel. Guests can use the hotel spa and gym, which are a 10-minute walk away. The apartment is cleaned and restocked once a week. Some pages say all maisonette apartments have a balcony, but that’s incorrect. Only one of the three apartments on the 6th floor has one. There’s a similar shared balcony next to the elevator, with a sofa and ashtray. The kitchen could use a few things: kitchen roll, cling film, and some oil. I bought a bottle of oil myself but didn’t use it all in two months. There are no garbage bags in the apartment, and organic waste needs a specific kind. Since rubbish is only emptied weekly, it can smell depending on what you throw away. There’s no oven either, just a microwave, fridge, and small freezer. The windows have electric exterior blinds but no curtains or other inside covering, so you can’t darken the apartment completely in daylight. For a stay of just a few days, it would be fantastic without any of these downsides. It’s also well suited to a longer stay, but ask for any extra amenities you’ll need.
