The soups were really good, but the fish dishes were definitely not fresh and weren't enjoyable. The restaurant and its location are lovely, with a really old-school German feel. We went for a test dinner while considering it for a golden wedding meal with family and friends, but the experience put us off right away. When I asked Pablo about a particular table for the anniversary, he gave me a very blunt, rude reply, and I stopped discussing it with him. Service was basically nonexistent: nobody offered drink refills or asked how the food was, even though it wasn't good. The same waiter took away the full plates. When I said the salad was freezing cold, probably prepared ahead and kept in the fridge, he just said, "I've never heard of that!" and walked off.

The food was great, and the staff were friendly. A beautiful restaurant out in the countryside.

There wasn't a single vegetarian dish. Even the fried potato came with meat. You know cholesterol is bad, right?
