Am Neuen Hafen

Lovely location, friendly staff, and a good breakfast. The rooms were very clean.

Our first ever out of town date was in a breathtaking city, and we'll definitely come back. I checked us in on February 25, which was also my birthday, and the whole stay was a gift from my boyfriend. I booked online through Trivago, but our first room wasn't actually on the bayside. I asked the woman at the front desk if we could have a room facing the bay, and she took care of it right away without hesitation. The service was great. The hotel was tidy and had a lovely atmosphere. The room wasn't very big, but it was fine for the two of us, and breakfast was good. We really enjoyed our stay.

The walk into the city centre is pleasant and takes only 15 minutes, and there was plenty of parking, which was handy. It's a nice, small, new hotel, fresh and clean throughout. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. Some people might find the mattresses rather firm.

We were so impressed with the room and service that my husband wrote about it on trip advisor. The small details had all been thought through, making the stay enjoyable. We only wish we'd had longer and will return when we're in Bremerhaven. The staff really make this place, and the hotel should do what it can to keep these professionals before someone else hires them.
