Apart Brunnen Bremerhaven

The walls are very thin, so I had to get up early. That makes this place a poor fit for a longer stay, though it worked out okay for my one night. I’d booked the simplest small room because I was only there briefly. It had a bed, table, and chair, with no kitchenette. The room was clean, and towels and bed linens were supplied. The shower got hot quickly, and the Wi-Fi worked, though I didn’t use the TV. It’s a large hotel complex with many rooms, presumably with different amenities. I was uneasy when the door keypad didn’t work at first, probably because the batteries were dead. I worried I might not be able to get in late at night, but luckily that didn’t happen.

We stayed one night on April 22, 2026, and everything went smoothly. The room was plain but very clean. The neighborhood didn’t feel especially inviting, though it wasn’t an issue for us. There’s a taxi stand across the street and a bakery for breakfast. The harbor is a 20-minute walk away, which was fine too.

The room was comfortable and okay, and the bathroom was very good, with everything nice and warm. It was quiet and well located, not far from the bus stop, and the prices were very good. I did have a few problems with the door code.

The apartment smelled strongly of mold and sewage as soon as we arrived, and the noise was excessive. It felt like someone might walk into the room at any moment. At least we got a partial refund, and for one night it was okay. It wasn’t a good experience, but we hope the feedback has been taken on board and future guests have a better stay.
