Nordsee Hotel Bremerhaven Fischereihafen

We were there for just a weekend, two adults and two children under 12. The staff were available, though pretty relaxed, if you know what I mean. Our room was clean but minimal, with not many extras or services. On our first night, the power went out in just our room at 22.30. We then waited 1h for the receptionist to move us, so we were left with lighting from year 1400. At breakfast we got gluten-free bread and nothing else, lucky us, huh? The other breakfast items weren’t anything special either. The 4* rating doesn’t match the value. I’d give it only 3 stars. We expected much more.

The location, service, and friendliness were amazing. Great hotel, and I wish I could say the same about our event hotel too ;-) I’d gladly go back and highly recommend it.

I spent two weeks here for work in a comfort room overlooking the port. It got very warm inside, and there was no AC. I could open the window, but then so many mosquitoes came in. The bathroom could use a renovation too.

The location and view are really pretty, and breakfast is okay. That’s about the only reason I’d stay here. The staff are very slow and unprofessional, and the cleaning service is a nightmare. They can’t speak German or good English. There’s no restaurant in the hotel, and the gym and sauna are in a regular gym that’s always full. Definitely not a 4 star hotel!
