THE LIBERTY Hotel Bremerhaven, BW Signature Collection

The staff at The Liberty made the experience fantastic and were very accommodating. Diana, Danielle, both Pia's, Nicole, Jonathan, Christian, Ayla, Jamie, Mimi, Epy, Alina, Carena, Michelle, and everyone else, thank you. The Liberty is the hotel in Bremerhaven.

The staff were great, and breakfast was good at this very nice hotel. The bed was softer than I like.

The location is good, but poor service ruined the experience for me. The rooms are extremely small, with nowhere to put suitcases, so they're always underfoot. If your room faces the water, its balcony is shared with other hotel rooms. People passing along the long balcony can see in through the large glass doors, so you have to keep the curtains shut and sit in the dark. There's no coffee machine, just a small kettle and two bags of cheap instant coffee, and no plates or cutlery in the room. They couldn't bring those up, so I had to get them from reception myself. The hotel wasn't very clean either, and I understand why now: they only clean sometimes. I'll never stay here again and can't recommend it.

We had a family break here for a few days and had to change our booking once. That all went smoothly, and the staff were very friendly then. The rooms were a good size, comfortable and quiet, and the location was great. The sauna and rooftop bar were nice too. On site, though, the staff let the place down. We got a lukewarm welcome and nobody explained how to get on the wifi. We'd booked an extra bed, but it wasn't in the room. I called and was told it would arrive in a few minutes, then after another hour I had to go down to reception to ask what had happened. When we requested a tidy-up, they didn't make the beds or restock the complimentary tea and coffee. The beds had no fitted sheets and were very soft.
