We originally came to pick up a few bottles after a summer weekend in Dusseldorf, but ended up discovering a lovely place to stay too. The hotel is set in a renovated old train station. Our room was simple, spotless, and attractive, with a really generous shower. Everything felt just right. And the restaurant was a surprise: every dish was delicious, nicely portioned, and excellent. Come hungry and enjoy it.

We were looking for somewhere to spend one night on the way, and this turned out to be a wonderful choice. The building has been thoughtfully redesigned, and we had a lovely stay. The owner and staff were so kind. Even though we arrived late, they made us dinner from what was available in the kitchen. It was delicious, and dinner turned into an impromptu tasting of the owner's own wine. It was the best wine we've ever tasted. Everything was perfect, and we'd definitely come back.

Breakfast was far more than we expected, and the staff were lovely. The room was spotless and welcoming too. The place is unusual, since it used to be a train station, but the trains didn't bother us at all. Give their wines a try as well.

We keep coming back and always enjoy our stays. The host is great, and the staff are friendly. There's excellent regional food, lovely wine from their own vineyards, and the accommodation has everything you could want.
