After a 15-hour drive from st.tropez, we arrived at 11:30 pm and they still found us some food to eat in. So kind! The kids were amazed by how clean the room was and how big the bathroom was. I can recommend this Gasthof 100%. We’ll definitely come back and visit the area around the Mosel. Kind regards

A lovely place to stay.

The employee was trying hard, but clearly overwhelmed, since he had to handle reception, waiting tables, cooking, maintenance and housekeeping by himself. We spent four days there over Christmas, and he didn’t speak a word of German. On Christmas Day the owners did show up, but they sat behind the bar drinking glass after glass of wine and playing on their phones. The hotel is small, but every room was occupied, probably because of the Christmas market in Traben-Trarbach. That can’t be a reason to leave one person to run the whole place. Most of the dinner was inedible, guests had to get their own drinks and clear their own dishes, and our room wasn’t entered once for cleaning during the four days. Disaster. I wonder when this place will finally close.
