We had a spacious, clean room and a tasty breakfast with plenty to choose from. The owners were kind and helpful, and there was lots of free parking. The river view was amazing. It’s a peaceful spot, away from the noisy, heavily touristed villages.

Waking up to the river right outside our room was magical, and breakfast was delicious. Lara, one of the owners in the fourth generation, greeted us and was lovely to chat with. She knows the area well. Visiting the Mosel had been on my bucket list, and this beautiful village is a must-see. We’ll be back.

We stopped by for a tasting, with a choice of four or six wines, and ended up charmed by the Weißburgunder Troken. We had to take home a whole case.
