Landgut Stober

The room was clean, and the food was very good. I was there for a business meeting or conference. My room was small but modern, and I liked the setting, which brings together modern and traditional styles.

We just stopped for lunch, without staying overnight. The lake view and lovely setting were a treat, and the service was friendly. My asparagus salad and my partner’s fish were both delicious, fresh, and creative. Afterwards, we took a nice walk around the lake.

The staff are very, very friendly and helpful. Rooms can get quite warm, but the post-dinner drinks by the fire are a lovely extra. Landgut Stober works well for corporate days or stays, with good meeting facilities, tasty and healthy food, and a calm atmosphere that helps you focus away from the city buzz.

The lake was beautiful and so peaceful, and there was plenty of room for the kids to run around. The foyer had a pool table, table football, and lots of games for them. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a proper bath for the little ones. We met friends here for a couple of nights while travelling further east. Breakfast was amazing on the first morning, but the next day, when there were fewer guests, there was much less choice. The restaurant was nice, though it wasn’t open on our last night, and there didn’t seem to be anywhere else to eat nearby. It’s a good place to stop or attend an event, but there isn’t much happening in the area unless you’re fishing on the lake.
