Mobile Homes im Tropical Islands Resort

Tropical Island itself was lots of fun, and I'd go back, but I wouldn't stay in these accommodations again. The Sunrise units looked nice, yet they were very dirty when we arrived. It seemed only the bedding and towels had been changed: windows, counters, floors, and tables were dirty, as was the outside furniture. There was mould in the washrooms, a broken washroom facet, filthy walls with killed flies, ants everywhere, and cigarette butts and garbage outside. Staff understood our concerns, but the only thing they did was bring an ant trap.

The outside homes were great, and the whole family had an awesome time. Food prices in the complex were reasonable. The Thai restaurant and food hall were good, though the buffet wasn't great. A couple of things to know: there's a limit on the payment tokens, which we weren't told about. You can just pay some balance when needed, which is a good safeguard. The tokens can also slip off quite easily in the pool if you don't refasten them, since the fabric stretches. The lifeguard promptly picked mine up, so there was no problem.

These comfortable homes are close to tropical island and work well for a family.

There was plenty to enjoy for adults and children alike, from several slides and children's playgrounds to a couple of options for adults. You can also visit different pools and settings, or relax in the spas and saunas. We loved the experience. I'd recommend it especially to families with children, or anyone looking to take a break and enjoy a day.
