The countryside around the hotel is lovely, with amazing nature, though it’s a little out of the way, so be prepared for a longer drive. There are a few restaurants, but check their opening times. The staff were especially supportive and kind, and breakfast was delicious.

Our room was extremely noisy, right beside a very busy road. When we brought it up, they offered us another room but insisted we pay an extra 77 Euro for the “upgrade.” We said no and cancelled the remaining 2 nights. The person at reception was very unfriendly, and the whole experience was unpleasant.

A really nice gasthof, with a fine room and a good feel to the place. The homemade jams and marmalades at breakfast are what make it especially worth a visit.

I’d booked for Sunday, but the hotel was closed! There was just a note on the door with a phone number, and that went to voicemail. A disaster.

The hotel is fine for a few nights. The restaurant is a bit expensive, but okay.
