The team really adds to the atmosphere, and this is a lovely restaurant. The Butter bread is a must in the evening, and the teriyaki meat with salad is the menu highlight for me. Don’t miss the Biscoff cheesecake either!

We had the four-course menu, with the chef bringing out a range of dishes. We could say which menu items we wanted included and which to leave out, which helped since one person in our group was vegetarian and couldn’t have cooked cream. We also chose the wine pairing. They brought the next course after we’d finished the wine with the current one, without keeping us waiting long. The food was even better than the service, and the place itself is really nice. The waiters were super friendly. They use informal German by default, but you can ask for formal address. They explained their different approach nicely, and speaking English was no problem. We’ll definitely come back when we’re in the region again.

We only stayed one night on the way home, which was a shame. The room was standard but amazing, and everything was spotless. The staff were so friendly, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Would love to return!

The portions for the main courses are smaller, with lower prices to match. If you want a full-sized meal, you can order two different mains and share them with your dining companions if you like. There’s also plenty of choice for people who don’t eat meat or fish, and the food itself was very good. The chef does a great job. It’s a very modern, stylish restaurant and a great addition to the region. The service feels different from most places near Willingen: friendly and helpful, informal yet professional. I can absolutely recommend eating here.
