The tractor ride was the biggest hit for our oldest. The children also loved visiting the barn and helping with the rabbits whenever they liked. We spent four nights with the Heist family, and the apartment worked really well for the grandparents, me, and our two children. It had everything we needed and felt very comfortable. There are dogs and rabbits on the farm, and horses in the pasture behind it. Sadly, the children couldn't ride because the pony was too unwell with the flies. We'll definitely come back!

There were tears when it was time to leave, which says a lot about how much we enjoyed the farm. My son got to join in with things like driving the tractor and combine harvester and pressing hay bales, and the girls were included too. Everyone could wander around the farm and help care for the horse.
