It’s just a ten-step walk to the forest, with lots of hikes starting there. We only stayed three days, but both the house and the owners deserve top marks. They even provide firewood, a service not many landlords offer. The place is in a very quiet, clean area. If you enjoy being close to nature and having peace and quiet, you’ll feel right at home.

The house has everything you could need and is very clean, nice, and quiet. There are great hikes straight from the door, past the Hohen Stein and on to Hallenberg, the chapel, the observation tower, and more. I highly recommend it. It’s right next to the forest.

The path into the woods is fantastic: straight across the meadow and into the forest. We didn’t need a leash except on the road, so it was pure relaxation for both dog and human. The meadow isn’t fenced, but that’s fine with well-behaved dogs. The house is very quiet and comfortably furnished. We’d love to come back!

The scenery was breathtaking, and we were thrilled with our break over Pentecost. It’s a wonderful house, lovingly furnished and fully equipped. The owners are there in person and seem extremely friendly and competent.

The beautiful forest starts just a few minutes’ walk from this very cozy vacation home. It’s in an idyllic spot, with great trails for hiking and walking. We’ll be back next year!
