Parking is a nightmare, and the area around the hotel feels dingy and poorly kept. The room itself was clean, but the refrigerator didn't work. People were friendly, yet the stay was miserable. I was put on the third floor under the roof, where it was hot and the air was very dry. I fell asleep like that the first night and woke with a sore throat, which had become a terrible infection by day three.

The hotel is right in the center of Bruchsal, in a very old building with, I believe, a great history. The location is perfect, though parking by car takes a little planning: get a parking card and find a free spot in front, or use the nearby Parkhouse. Rooms are clean but really small, just a bed and bathroom, and sounds from other rooms carry easily. Service was okay, food was good, and we had a good stay.

The hosts were friendly and easy to deal with. It's a small, simple, clean hotel in a good location. Breakfast isn't very varied, but has all the essentials, and the coffee is good.

A very basic place, clean and quiet, with only minimal amenities.

A cozy, family-style hotel with nice people.
