I felt very well looked after during my two nights here while visiting Phantasialand. The rooms are simple, sweet, clean, warm, and quiet, with a traditional German feel. Nothing fancy, but I had everything I needed in Brühl. The rates are reasonable too, so this is a good place to look if you're after well-priced accommodation. Thanks for having me.

We had a nice little room for four, and the receptionist was really friendly and helpful. Housekeeping came in while we were out, but there hadn't been any notice, so for a moment we worried someone had broken in. The shower head needs replacing. It gave either a hard stream that hurt my head or a fine mist that wasn't useful. Still, the room was good overall, and I'd recommend it to anyone on a budget.

We stayed four nights for a trip to Phantasialand and Cologne, and getting to both from here was easy. The room was big and clean, with a small outdoor space. I wasn't sure what the bad reviews were about. I would've liked some vegan breakfast choices, and the bed wasn't the most comfortable, but it was a great stay overall. I'd recommend it.

Breakfast was a real treat both mornings, with freshly baked bread, fresh coffee, and a calm atmosphere. The older gentleman who served us was very kind and attentive, though I didn't catch his name. Our suite had three bedrooms, two king beds, and one double. It was clean and roomy when we arrived, and we appreciated the fresh towels and cleaning each day. There wasn't much noise. Bring your own toiletries, such as shampoo and toothpaste, or pick them up at the corner shop. We chose Balthasar Neumann for a two-night family trip to Phantasialand, and it turned out to be next to Brühl's shopping district too. There are lots of nice shops and cafes within walking distance, which was a lovely surprise. The park is also only a short drive away. Parking was confusing, so we paid €10 a day to use the hotel's own lot. It's about two blocks away, which wasn't far, and easier than hunting for a spot with our large US truck. My family and I all enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend it.
