Landhotel Zum Böhm

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and we got a free bottle of still water whenever the room was cleaned. The hotel sits by a main road but was very quiet, especially at night. It's about a 25-30 minute drive from messe Nuremberg, with not much traffic from that direction, and costs considerably less than places in Nuremberg. We stayed with colleagues for an exhibition or fair and found it not bad overall. Some rooms are older, though there are rooms in a newer building too. We arrived at 1:30 a.m. and reception was closed. The key box wasn't easy to find: it's in the courtyard in the middle of the complex, past the parking lot, and there's no light, which can be stressful after a long flight or drive. Breakfast is basic, with bread, eggs, and cereal. That was fine for me, though others might expect more. There was also a small snag when booking an extra night, since that had to be done on booking.com rather than in person. I'd stay again for the location and price, but it won't suit everyone.

The restaurant offers very good value for the amount and quality of food. Breakfast is basic but tasty. My main complaints are the hard beds and poor sound insulation between rooms.

Complimentary snacks, now that’s not something every hotel offers 😀 The owners are friendly, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. A good place to stay.

The hotel cancelled my booking without giving any reason. Watch out, they might do the same to yours. I needed a hotel for Challenge Roth, and now all the others are full...
