We were here for an off-site meeting, and the location made it easy to get out for walks on the dikes. The food selection was limited but delicious, and good coffee helped keep us energized and upbeat. Being where it is, you can enjoy both sunrise and sunset 😍

The staff were professional and super friendly, and the humor running through the place made it feel like home. The restaurant dinner was high quality, comparable to other mid-range places nearby. I skipped breakfast because I'd been disappointed by German breakfast options before. My bikepacking trip toward the Northern Sea ended here, and the stay was well worth it. I made the most of the special green rates for guests arriving by electric car or public train. Cycling all the way from Berlin seems unusual, so maybe there could be another bonus for that ;) It's not a bargain, but you get solid, modern value for your euros. At night, you may hear the neighbors' southside winds, though I've experienced that at other accommodations too.

The breakfast buffet didn't feel worth the price unless you're very hungry, and I didn't find the beds very comfortable either. On a hot day, air-conditioning would be welcome, but the hotel doesn't have it.
