Haus Gisela

Haus Gisela is close to the family lagoon, and dogs are welcome. The holiday apartment is small but pleasant. The kitchen could use a frying pan and pot holders or trivets. Its oven is only microwave-sized, so it won't suit pizzas or larger things for baking.

We stayed in apartment 5, a lovely place right in the center. The hosts were friendly and quick to help whenever needed, and the apartment had what we needed for a short stay. I'd happily recommend it.

The pool wasn't open yet, which was a shame. Still, the apartment was perfectly fine for a week with our two kids. The kitchen is on the small side, but it worked out. We'll come back for sure. 😁😁

The location worked well for us, and since we spent most of our time out with the kids, the apartment was adequate. It's reasonably priced, though how you'll feel about it probably depends on what you expect. The rooms looked clean at first, but don't lift the sofa cushions. Toilet paper was extremely limited, barely enough for seven days for four people, if that. The excursion information was also from the previous year. Inside, the accommodation was maintained better than the outside. The apartments are practical and tidy, but the bathroom has no window, and its fan only runs with the light, so you have to leave the light on after showering. The heating, especially in the bathroom, was weak. There was no dishcloth, either. When we asked the cleaning lady we ran into, she just pointed out that Edeka nearby was open even on Sunday. On arrival the door was locked. We left messages on the answering machine several times before someone called back to explain where the key was.
