Lagune No1

The rooms were the standout for me: really tasteful and practical, and breakfast was good as well. What made the stay disappointing was the lack of friendliness. Nobody told us where breakfast was or explained things like the WiFi at the start. The daily greetings felt cold, and the billing at checkout was handled in a pretty amateurish and unfriendly way. Nobody even asked whether we’d been satisfied.

Everything you might want was there at breakfast, which was good. The hotel was lovely and clean, and everyone was friendly. The North Sea is just a three-minute walk away, and the town center takes about 15 minutes on foot.

We were lucky to catch a light show at an event only 20 meters away. The hotel also made it easy to get to the water, and Büsum harbor is less than a 20-minute walk from here. We would have loved to stay longer. Breakfast had everything we could want, and the room was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was unbelievable. My husband had crab, I had salmon and plenty more, and I’ve never had a hotel soft-boiled egg that good. The room, bed, and everything else were first-class. It isn’t cheap, but it’s worth every penny. We’d love to return again and again, and definitely will.
